I love you guys. And i'm not afraid to say out loud!

Hey all!!

Firstly - HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY to our very special teachers. Ms Hon, Mr Chua, Mrs Cheng, Mr Tan & Ms Lee. We are really really unappreciative of everything you have done for us! So yeah, take the week off (chey, like we're giving them holiday liddat!) and rest, cos well, you're not done with us just yet! (HAHA, i can hear the screams in the background)

I hope everyone had a nice teachers' day - you know watching the concert, going back to our various alma maters, meeting up with old friends, or simply going home to rest!

September holidays are here, and well we all know what that means - study study study! We've got our promos coming up ladies and gentlemen, so hopefully we make the best of our holidays! Not to mention, SERVICE LEARNING is this THURSDAY! Don't forget hor!

-LOGISTICS people, please get the LOGISTICS!

There's a lot of studying to do, so don't delay, don't procrastinate! BUT also take some breaks here and there! I usually binge on oreo's to keep me awake at night & a can of starbucks double-shot espresso. Hahaha.. (:

I really appreciate everything that we've done for each other. I really love each and everyone of you, and without one, this class won't be the same. Not now, not ever. I can't put words to how much i really do like this class. Some of you may not feel like I do, but its okay. Read my blog, see what i've gotta say, if you want.

service learning....

Don't mean to be spoiler here but people we have to do the pre service learning reflection by tonight pls???

super sorry for the late posting of questions....

ok...

its basically on what you hope to achieve from this experience....
if you didn't know.. there is no more painting.. so its just fun and games...

Questions are:

Reflecting on the project & what you hope to learn..

1. On the community why are helping which are dyslexic kids, aged between 8 to 10. write about what YOU know about these kinds of kids and all.

2.write about your roles and responsibilities during this project. eg your a mentor of a group and how do you wish to help these kids and all.. maybe boost self esteem? or just have fun? and what you wish to contribute to them...

3. what outcome do you hope to achieve from this trip?? remember these are supposed to be what you want to achieve for yourself...

4.what kind of knowledge do you want to gain from this trip. eg would be increased awareness of dyslexia in Singapore?? something like that...

5.what skills do you hope to learn or use? this can be like your leadership skills or how to handle events or kids... how to better understand kids with low self esteem?? in this line ok...

6. how do you think this event might change your attitude towards things in general? perhaps you may feel that oh... dyslexic kids are normal after all... so we shouldn't treat them different or look at them different or something....

7. how do you think this might help you change certain values? (optional)

8.what do hope to learn from this entire project?? teamwork?? know your classmates better???

Guess Who?

Life's been a bitch, for me, that is.
